About the Staff
One of the most powerful teaching techniques is the use of modeling. Whether the focus is appropriate social behavior, physical activity, or academic achievement, the modeling of expected behavior is one of the most effective methods of teaching.
The staff members at Countryside Preschool believe strongly in the power of modeling as a teaching strategy. In the classroom, as well as on the playing field, this philosophy results in staff behavior providing a model of expected student behavior. Students are treated with respect and are reinforced for their efforts in showing respect for their peers. Language skills are reinforced by grammatically correct language usage by the staff, and problem solving strategies are developed through the staff practice of involving students in the problem solving process.
Countryside Preschool staff members have many years of experience in the Texas public schools.
